Junior Service Technician

Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Service Technician to support our field Service team on a 6-month fixed term contract.
This is an entry-level, field-based role focused on conducting site pre-surveys, data collection, and preparatory technical assessments to support installation and service activities. The successful candidate will work primarily on customer sites across Dublin, ensuring accurate information is gathered to enable efficient service delivery.
This position is well suited to someone looking to gain hands-on technical and field experience within a service or engineering environment. The candidate will be exposed to service engineering operations, with structured onboarding and training provided.
Working Conditions
- Primarily field-based across Dublin
- Travel between multiple sites daily
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site pre-surveys
- Assess site access, safety considerations, and installation requirements
- Support senior technicians and engineers with field activities when required
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards
- Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicle
- Provide timely updates to the Service/Operations team

Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Full clean driving licence
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
- Strong communication, highly proficient in spoken and written English.
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Basic technical aptitude/mechanical or electrical awareness
- Competent with mobile apps/tablets and MS Office
- Willingness to travel to multiple sites daily
Desirable
- Relevant technical qualification
- Previous field service, surveying, or installation support experience
- Safe Pass, but this can be provided
